In support of the performance of a Purchase Order, Rocketdyne- and/or Government- owned property may be provided to the supplier. Control of this property must be done in strict compliance to Purchase Order terms and conditions.
- Utilization
Property may be utilized only as specified by applicable Purchase Order. Property that is accountable to a Government Contract can only be used for the specific program unless permission has been granted from Rocketdyne's prime customer. - Supplier Surveillance Requirements
Per Rocketdyne policy, Supplier Property Control Systems will be evaluated on a periodic basis. These evaluations may be completed via email by the Supplier or on-site by Rocketdyne personnel. - Supplier Inventory Requirements
Suppliers are expected to perform Physical Inventory for all material/tooling/equipment every 12-24 months depending on the location. - Loss, Theft, Damage or Destruction (LTDD)
All incidences of loss, theft, damage or destruction of Rocketdyne and/or Government Property must be reported as soon as the facts are known to the appropriate Rocketdyne Procurement Buyer. Liability for such incidences shall be determined in relation to PO term and conditions. - Certified Property Listings
Certified Property Listings will be used to document Special Tooling, Special Test Equipment and Plant Equipment that is acquired (purchased or fabricated) by the supplier and to which Rocketdyne or the Government has title. Scaled photographs are required for all new tooling/equipment. - Insurance Requirements
Suppliers are required to retain liability insurance when in possession of any Rocketdyne/Government Property.
